Malvina is a character of the book written by A. N. Tolstoy "The Golden Key, or the Adventures of Pinocchio". She a doll with blue hair and a porcelain head. Malvina is a "girl with curly blue hair and blue eyes", she was the most beautiful doll in the Karabas-Barabas collection. Despite the porcelain head and body stuffed with cotton wool, the doll possessed intelligence, strong nerves and an iron will. Karabas respected Malvina very much and really wanted to be friends with her, but Malvina she hated him for his cruelty.

This character has an outstanding character, curious appearance and rich biography. Her appearance in a fairy tale is by no means accidental. The literary basis for the work of Alexei Tolstoy, written in 1923 was the Italian fiaba "The Adventures of Pinocchio" by Carlo Collodi. The authentic Pinocchio story was known in Europe 50 years before it was heard in Russia.
